Everything you ask us.
Fee, running time, PA and lights, space, travel: the answers to the questions we get most often.
01What is your fee?
It depends on the size of the event, the travel involved and the PA and lighting you need. In most cases we sit in the €1,000 — €2,500 range. Exceptions? Only upwards 😬
02How long do you play for?
Usually between 1 hour 30 and 2 hours 30. Want us to play longer? See above, under «exceptions» 🤓
03Do you bring your own PA and lights?
Yes — and it is us running it! 😉 To keep your wallet safe, we are self-sufficient up to an audience of 250; above 250 we bring in the sound company we trust.
04Where are you from? How far do you travel?
We are from Brescia, in northern Italy, but we will come and make you dance wherever you are. Available for travel across Italy and abroad. 🕺🏻
05What does your name mean?
Our routine on rehearsal days has always been the same: a good moka pot of scalding coffee and a small glass of amaro, then everybody plays. Literally «hot Joe» (American slang for coffee) & the coffee killers — which is what Italians call the shot of liqueur that kills the taste of the coffee (the Coffeekillers). ☕️🥃
06Do you play in smaller line-ups?
We would rather play as a six-piece, our only real show line-up. In exceptional cases we play in a reduced line-up too.
07How much space do you need?
5 by 3 metres is our minimum.
08How many people are too many for a Coffeekillers show?
The more the merrier.
09Do you play a fixed set list?
The show is about 20 songs long. We have a repertoire of around 50, and we build the set on what the night needs.
10Do you need food and drinks?
We like to play on a full stomach and with an elbow raised, if you know what we mean.
11Is there anything else we should know before booking you?
